Bring in your used batteries! A message from our Me to We Team

Dear Parents/ Guardians,
The ‘Me to We’ Team will be running a battery drive to collect household batteries of all different sizes to help children in Developing Countries that are zinc deficient. Just one AA battery provides enough zinc for three children! Zinc is a life-saving treatment for diarrhea, which kills 600,000 children each year.
Our Battery Drive will be running from Tuesday, Sept. 20th, until Thursday, Sept. 29th, and we will also be collecting batteries on Meet the Teacher night as well.
