Holy Cross’ 12 Days of
 Christmas Giving 2018
“During the holidays, no child or parent, no family or individual should ever be hungry”.
Holy Cross was given a list of 12 items Christmas Cheer is in need of to fill their hampers and supply local food banks. We challenged our students and everyone stepped up donating MORE THAN 5000 ITEMS over the 12 day food drive!!! You should all be proud of yourselves for this amazing effort. Christmas Cheer is truly thankful!
Throughout the 12 Days of Giving, students were challenged to a friendly competition with Alcona Glen to see who could donate the most food. We would like to announce that Holy Cross is the winner with 5022 items! We have won the Golden Can Trophy and Alcona Glen’s principal is going to be wearing the Holy Cross Hurricane’s school jersey on Friday December 14th.
On the 1st day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 370 cans of Fruits or Veggies!
On the 2nd day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 419 cans of Meats or Fish!
On the 3rd day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 493 cans of Chunky Soups or Stews!
On the 4th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 531 boxes of Cereal!
On the 5th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 484 packs of COOKIES!
On the 6th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 353 packages of Dry Pasta!
On the 7th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 407 jars of Pasta Sauce!
On the 8th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 267 packages of Muffin/Cake Mixes!
On the 9th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 332 packages of Jello or Puddings!
On the 10th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 273 cans of Spaghetti!
On the 11th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 597 Soups!
On the 12th day of Christmas Holy Cross students brought in 496 boxes of Kraft Dinner!
GRAND TOTAL = 5022 ITEMS
