Over the next few weeks our school will be collecting dry and canned goods for Christmas Cheer. Throughout the holidays Christmas Cheer assists almost 2000 families in Barrie and area, and every year there is more demand for assistance. Holy Cross has been given a list of 12 items Christmas Cheer is in dire need of at this time to fulfill requests and everyday demand.

We are having a friendly competition with Alcona Glen to see who can donate the most food items. The winning school will be awarded the Golden Can Trophy as well as having the runner up school’s principal wear the winning school’s jersey for a day! As an added bonus, the family who donates the most food in the school will WIN 4 tickets to the Barrie Colts game (donated by Innisfil Firefighters Association) on Dec 15th at 7:30pm!
